A Sherman Tank is one of the many interesting things arriving on the Manitoba Agricultural Museum grounds at the Manitoba Military Heritage feature at the 2014 Thresherman's Reunion. In the background can be seen some of the other vehicles taking part in the feature.

An M113 personnel carrier, trucks, bren gun carriers, armoured cars and bofors gun can be seen. On the right side of the photo is an armoured version of a John Deere Model A tractor which, believe it or no, was experimented with by the USA right after the USA entry into World War II. While the prototype was scrapped, several tractor buffs have recreated an accurate replica and an accurate replica of follow up design proposed by John Deere. This follow up version is also on display at the feature. There are many more vehicles and artifacts on display which are not shown in the photo.

The Threshermen's Reunion and Stampede along with the Manitoba Military Heritage feature runs Thursday July 24 to Sunday, July 27 on the Manitoba Agricultural Museum grounds, three kilometres south of Austin.

As well as the feature event, there are a full slate of reunion activities such as pioneer machinery demonstrations, vintage parade, a petting zoo, plus much more.
