Observation: May speeding along

The month of May is speeding along. I spent most of this month visiting my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A grandson and his fiancee got married and I was able to attend that wedding in B.C. There was a lot of traveling involved to see my family. What a blessing it is to see how this family is growing.

More than 55 years ago, we came to Canada, just the two of us. Now I look at the heritage that my family is giving and the family circle keeps growing. The Lord gave us five wonderful children. They are all married now and four of them are now also grandparents. It brings tears to my eyes.

And I did not even mention my step family. Their heritage is building also. One granddaughter is getting married this summer. It is a blessing to have some of the family close to us here.

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:10). God is the giver of families.
