Observation: Trying to help

My neighbor was chasing her little dog. I grabbed my leash and tried to help them. The little rascal slipped out of the house without a collar or lease and he was now on a busy street criss-crossing from side to side.

A young man, on his way to high school tried to help by keeping the dog off the road. Finally, the dog was caught and I was able to put the leash on him. The young man now had to hurry to get to school. What a blessing he had been to this lady and her dog.

I see a young woman who rescues a young boy with special needs from an orphanage. This boy now has a loving home and many people from our valley helped to accomplish this.

These are only a few examples of people in the Swan Valley who give themselves to meet the needs of others around them without asking anything in return. Paul tells us in Philippians 2:4 “do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others” The Lord will bless those who serve Him in this way.
