With thanksgiving in my heart I look back to these last few weeks. The love and help I received from family and friends is unmeasurable. It probably was the most difficult move in some ways, but on the other hand I am looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with my daughter, granddaughter and great grand daughters and their families.

I can honestly say that the Lord gave me the desires of my heart (Psalm 37:4) by providing a beautiful place to live and family close by. As families gather together around the Thanksgivings table this week let’s make a point of counting our blessings, great and small: the freedom we have in this country to express ourselves, to worship God as we please and be blessed with the harvest that was able to get into the bins.

Maybe some of our friends or neighbors are suffering or grieving. Let us be passionate and show “to love one another” (John 13:34) by doing something special for them.

May God be honored and may we be blessed this weekend.
