Many farmers are fighting against time and weather to try to get the seed into the ground. Many fields are saturated and a challenge to work on by the farmers. Some fields will lay bare this season and will not produce a crop in the fall.

Observation: Trying to help

My neighbor was chasing her little dog. I grabbed my leash and tried to help them. The little rascal slipped out of the house without a collar or lease and he was now on a busy street criss-crossing from side to side.

As I write these words, police officers and first responders from across Canada are in Moncton to pay tribute to three RCMP members who were killed in the line of duty a few days ago.

Observation: Back into a routine

After recuperating a few days from a long trip via bus, plane and car, I am back into a routine. We traveled over mountains and through valleys and were able to attend my grandson’s wedding.
