Clark takes over as full-time athletic manager at ACC

Assiniboine Community College recently announced that Beth Clark is now the full-time athletic manager for the college.
Hailing from Regina, Clark graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing Major) and is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Leadership through Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia.
Clark brings experience and passion for sports at an elite level to the position. She played five seasons of CIS volleyball with the University of Regina Cougars where she was team captain, female athlete of the year, Canada West first team all-star and all-Canadian second team all-star during her tenure. Following university, Clark played two seasons with the Canadian national volleyball program and finished her volleyball career playing professionally in Europe. She spent a season as an assistant coach for the University of Regina women’s volleyball team and brings experience coaching at high school, club and provincial level teams.
“I’m excited about taking on this role and developing the varsity and recreation programs at ACC,” said Clark in a release. “I look forward to working with our student athletes, coaches and college staff to build athletics as part of campus life at the college.
“Many thanks to our Purchasing Agent, Larry Shannon, who has done an excellent job running our athletics program from the side of his desk for a number of years,” said Mark Frison, President of ACC. “We look forward to Beth’s contribution to creating an exceptional student experience at ACC.”
ACC’s varsity athletics program for 2013-14 includes men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, and women’s hockey. The soccer season is underway, while the volleyball teams begin exhibition play September 27. Women’s hockey gets underway Oct. 4.
She started the newly created role on Sept. 24.
