MJHL: Bayer scores two, helping Blizzard defeat Stampeders

Edward Bayer scored two goals helping the OCN Blizzard defeat the Swan Valley Stampeders 6-2 on Tuesday night in Manitoba Junior Hockey League regular season action. 

Bayer was named first star on the night which saw the Blizzard score five goals in the first period en route to the victory at Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre in The Pas. 

Darien Cardinal, Kirk Chief, Grant Valiquette and Tyler Grove scored for the Blizzard, who improved to 5-2-1 on the year. 

Carter Johnson scored both goals for the Stampeders, who dropped to 4-5-0 on the season.
