Wytinck and Cockerill named co-winners of Golf Manitoba award

Josh Wytinck of Glenboro and Aaron Cockerill of Teulon were named co-winners of Golf Manitoba's amateur golfer of the year award on Monday.

Wytinck, who won the award last year, finished fourth at the provincial men's amateur championship in Neepawa in July. He also won three events this year as a member of the University of Manitoba Bisons golf team.

Cockerill, who is Wytinck's teammate on the Bisons golf team, was a runner-up at the provincial men's amateur. He also won the men's rural championship.
