MJHL: Oil Capitals fall to Blues

The Winnipeg Blues scored five goals in the third period en route to a 6-4 victory over the host Virden Oil Capitals in Manitoba Junior Hockey League action on Tuesday night. 

Lucas Oliver, Kevin Pochuk, Mack Hardy and Lyrik Friesen scored for the Sher-Wood Division leading Oil Caps, who dropped to 10-7-0 this season. 

The Blues meanwhile, improved to 7-6-2 this year. 

In other MJHL action, the Selkirk Steelers shut out the Winkler Flyers by a score of 4-0. Erik Pushka had a goal and an assist for the Steelers, who now sit with a 10-3-2 record and currently sit only two points behind the Steinbach Pistons for top spot in the Addison Division.
