Bitz wins MCT's Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic; Chudley loses in quarter-final

Scott Bitz of Regina won the Manitoba Curling Tour's Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic on Monday.

Bitz and his curling team defeated David Kraichy's Winnipeg squad 5-2 in the championship final. Bitz scored a deuce in the first end and followed that up with a single point in the third, fifth and eighth ends en route to the victory.

Neepawa's Jerry Chudley took part in the event and wound up falling in the quarter-final to Kraichy by a score of 6-5.
