Chudley edges McCannell in Westman Super League action

Neepawa's Jerry Chudley and his team improved to 5-2 this season in Westman Super League of Curling action on Wednesday night.

Chudley edged Pilot Mound's Curtis McCannell and his rink by a score of 5-4.

Chudley scored a deuce in the fifth end and followed that up with a steal of one in the sixth. Chudley would then score two in the eighth and final end en route to the win.

In other league action, Shawn Taylor beat Kelly Skinner 5-3; Jim Renwick defeated Brian Fowler 5-1; Duane Lang squeaked by Mark Anderson 6-5; Kelly Marnoch defeated Cale Dunbar 5-3, while defending champion Terry McNamee beat Perry Fisher 6-2.
