Jets defeat Islanders

The Winnipeg Jets were able to come away with a 3-2 win over the New York Islanders on Wednesday night.

Mark Stuart, Andrew Ladd and Devin Setoguchi netted tallies for the Jets in the second period en route to the win.

Jets backup netminder Al Montoya stopped 28 shots between the pipes, helping Winnipeg improve to 2-0 on their current road trip and now sit with a 12-11-4 record and are in sixth place in the NHL's Central Division.
