New Wheat Kings store to open soon

The Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings have announced that they will be opening up a new team store. 

The new shop is officially called the "Wheat Kings Team Store" and will be situated inside the east main entrance of the Keystone Centre where the Wheat Kings' hockey operations department had been located. Earlier this month, the team moved its operations to the top of the ramp, adjacent to the Keystone Centre's Pioneer Lounge.

The new store will be open for business on Friday, Dec. 6 and will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays as well as on game days.

"We're excited to offer a new shopping experience to Wheat Kings' fans," said store manager Heather Thomas. "We want our customers to feel comfortable and have the ability to see our many options up close."

Customers will also be able to search for items online at the club's new online store that can be found at www.wheatkings.com.

The Wheat Kings Team Store will feature a long line of new merchandise just in time for Christmas. Fans will also have the chance to browse and check out a variety of game worn jerseys from recent years.
