Former Yellowhead Chief Shawn Bowles was named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's rookie of the month for November.
The 18-year-old forward from Elkhorn recorded eight goals, six assists for 14 points in 13 games for the Terriers, who sit second in the tight Addison Division.
Meanwhile, Max Flanagan of the Swan Valley Stampeders has been named the player of the month for November.
The 20-year-old forward from Edmonton sits atop the MJHL scoring race with 41 points in 31 games for the Stampeders, who are currently in second place in the Sher-Wood Division with 29 points.
The defenceman of the month award went to Channing Bresciani of the Winnipeg Blues, while Braeden Ostepchuk of the Selkirk Steelers was named the netminder of the month.
