Jayce Hawryluk has been named the Brandon Wheat Kings player of the month for November.

Hawryluk, 17, from Roblin, who is a former second round draft choice of the Wheat Kings in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, led Brandon in scoring last month with eight goals and 20 points in 13 games.

Of those eight goals, six came on back-to-back hat tricks against the Everett Silvertips and Lethbridge Hurricanes.

This marks the second time in his WHL career that he has been chosen the hockey club's player of the month, earning the monthly honour last December.
