The first-half of the 2013-14 season has concluded for the Brandon University Bobcats, and with that comes the announcement of the Smitty's Sportsline Lounge November athletes of the month.

Meaghan Robertson, a fourth-year middle for the BU women's volleyball team and Kenonte Ramsey of the BU men's basketball team have earned the honours for the month.

Robertson sits in third place in Canada West individual hitting percentage (.351) following 10 matches in November, which included a 19-kill performance on Nov. 15 against the Manitoba Bisons. Robertson's performance was only two kills shy of tying the school record (21).

It also ties Robertson's career-high for a single match.

Meanwhile, Ramsey had a solid November, leading the Bobcats men's basketball team in scoring (14.5 ppg), and leads the Canada West conference in three-pointers (35) on the season.

He recorded a career-high 25 points this past weekend on the road against the University of Calgary Dinos en route to a weekend split.

The fourth-year guard has made a name for himself as being one of the hottest shooters in the country, which is evidenced by the seven three-pointers he hit on Nov. 16 in a 71-70 upset win over the then No. 2 nationally ranked Alberta Golden Bears.

Ramsey's seven three-pointers were just two-shy of tying BU's single-game record, which is shared by sharp-shooters Joey Vickery and Kyle Vince.
