Ken Sabad's curling team won the Westoba Credit Union Masters Super League championship on Thursday night.

The team, which includes Doug Armour who skips the rink, defeated Bert Peaslee's squad, which is skipped by Rick Thompson, 7-4 in the final at the Brandon Curling Club.

The Sabad team, which went undefeated in the league going 13-0 in the Money Masters Group and then following that up with a 6-5 win over Bruce Ray in a semifinal, will now attempt to win a provincial masters title in March in Winnipeg.

Armour is also the third for Neepawa's Kelly Robertson. The Robertson rink recently earned a berth into the Safeway men's provincial curling championship.

Armour has won six provincial titles during his career. He was inducted into the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame in 2006.
