Cam Tibbett is this year’s MVP of the Manitoba Senior Baseball League’s Neepawa Farmers.

Tibbett was awarded the Roy Rush Memorial Trophy recently, which is given each year to the Farmers MVP as voted on by the players.

Tibbett finished in first place in the league in batting average (.408), second in hits (29), fourth in RBI (17), 10th in walks (10) and 14th in runs scored (10).

Tibbett and the Farmers finished the regular season with a 3-17 record and would end up defeating the Oak River Dodgers in a one-game playoff to advance to the semifinals. The Farmers season would then come to a close as the club was swept by the Brandon Cloverleafs in a best-of-five series.
