1) Portage Terriers (4-0-0) (Last Week: 1) – Two wins this past week as the Terriers continue to roll. They beat Neepawa (5-1) and Dauphin (6-3) at home. Portage has outscored their opponents 24-5 so far this season.

2) Winnipeg Blues (4-0-0) (Last Week: 2) – Not far behind the Portage Terriers are the Blues. Winnipeg is also undefeated this season. They put up big numbers over the weekend, beating Waywayseecappo 7-3 and Swan Valley 6-2.

3) Winkler Flyers (4-1-0) (Last Week: 6) – Three straight victories for the Winkler Flyers this past week. The streak includes an impressive 6-4 comeback win over Dauphin and a 4-0 shutout against Wayway.

4) Steinbach Pistons (3-1-0) (Last Week: 5) – Just two games for the Steinbach Pistons, and they got the job done at home, getting past Swan Valley and Dauphin. Now the Pistons go on the road, they won’t play on home ice again until October 24th.

5) Selkirk Steelers (1-2-1) (Last Week: 9) – Three of a possible four points in what was a solid week for the Selkirk Steelers. They got two out of Swan Valley and took a strong Winkler squad to overtime.

6) Dauphin Kings (2-3-0) (Last Week: 3) – The Dauphin Kings likely deserved a better fate in a couple of their games over the weekend. Either way Dauphin came up short three straight times and will try to rebound early this week.

7) OCN Blizzard (2-3-0) (Last Week: 11) – The Blizzard got revenge on Neepawa. After losing their first two games of the season to the Natives on the road, OCN bounced back with two wins at home.

8) Neepawa Natives (2-3-0) (Last Week: 4) – Three straight losses for the Neepawa, all as the visitors during a tough week. The Natives gave up 18 goals against during the three game schedule.

9) Swan Valley Stampeders (1-3-1) (Last Week: 7) – After a good start to the week at home with a win over OCN the Stampeders went to the southern part of the province where they dropped three in a row.

10) Waywayseecappo Wolverines (1-3-0) (Last Week: 10) – An overtime win against Virden on Tuesday sent Wayway fans home happy. The Wolverines then saw their record fall to 1-3-0 when they lost in Winnipeg and Winkler.

11) Virden Oil Capitals (0-2-1) (Last Week: 8) – Don’t expect the Virden Oil Capitals to be at the bottom of the MJHL Power Rankings for long. It’s only a matter of time before they get going. Virden has a more consistent amount of games this week.
