Yellowhead Chiefs Female team opens season with pair of wins

The Yellowhead Chiefs AAA Female midget team has started the regular season on a winning note, beating the Norman Wild in a pair of game over the weekend. Both matchups ended with identical 3-2 scores.

On Friday night in Shoal Lake, Sam Geekie, Mckenna Paddock and Tashel Scantlebury were able to light the lamp for Yellowhead, while Emma Greenwood got the win between the pipes.

On Saturday night, the Chiefs were once again victorious. Jalyn Elmes, Sam Geekie and Kirsten Brown were the scorers for Yellowhead.

The next regular season game for the Chiefs is set for October 18th at the St. Adolphe Arena against Eastman.
