The Christmas hiatus can’t arrive soon enough for the Neepawa Natives, as they are in desperate need of some extra time to recover from their recent injury woes. The team put in a valiant effort against the Winnipeg Blues on Tuesday, Dec. 9 but were unable to overcome the 17th ranked club in the nation, falling 2-1.
Swan Valley wins big in Neepawa

The recent string of injuries to the roster of the Neepawa Natives appears to have finally caught up with the team, as the Swan Valley Stampeders were able to win in impressive fashion on Sunday night 7-3.
Grant furnishes hall in Kenton

Woodworth Senior Services (WSS) held an open house at Kenton Memorial Hall on Nov. 18. Employment and Social Development provided a grant of $23,286 through New Horizons (a seniors program) for new tables and chairs in our hall, which we are very proud of, and for the installation of Wi-Fi Internet service. Additional purchases were five laptops, a laptop charging station, a laser colour printer and a smart TV.

Despite having a depleted lineup due to recent injuries, the Neepawa Natives proved to be the better team on Friday night as they defeated the Winkler Flyers 5-3 in MJHL action.
