Manitoba Ag Days 2016 is proud to release the seminar program for the upcoming 2016 show, to be held Jan. 19-21. The 2016 program is designed to help producers advocate for their industry, explore innovation for the future and accelerate growth in a dynamic industry.

Over the course of the three days, an exciting lineup of speakers will explore topics that are relevant for every farm. Whether human resource considerations are at the forefront for today, exploring the opportunities with changing consumer demands in the future or learning about the dynamics in the used equipment market, there is a speaker for you. Make sure to plan your trip to Ag Days so you don’t miss out.

Manitoba Ag Days is proud to bring social media ag advocates Andrew Campbell, #farm365, and Sarah Schultz, @nurselovesfarmer. Andrew and Sarah will share their experiences of interacting with consumers and why it is so important for producers to share their stories about how they raise food and how they farm rather than someone else doing it for them. Join Andrew and Sarah on Tuesday afternoon to hear this dynamic presentation.

Farm equipment is a vital part of a successful family farm. We are proud to have Greg Peterson, known as “Machinery Pete,” join the speaking line up Wednesday afternoon. He will share the latest prices and trends in used farm equipment.

The weather is a favourite topic in agriculture and it has an impact on every farm. Tomorrow’s Weather: Warmer, Wetter and Wilder will be presented by David Phillips, senior climatologist at Environment Canada; he will join the program Thursday morning.

From market outlook updates, tax tips and preparing for the next generation, to hot agronomic tops like managing salinity, clubroot management, soybean production, wheat yield and protein, there is something for everyone. We have brought a dynamic field of speakers in from all over to share their experience and knowledge with our producers.
