Dodd wins Minnedosa senior men’s open

Ken Dodd won this year’s Minnedosa senior men’s open golf tournament on Thursday. 

Dodd shot a 77 to win the championship flight, finishing one stroke ahead of Dwight Kearns. Bill Key finished in third place. 

The first flight winner was Ken Farrough; the second flight winner was Merv Robertson; the third flight went to Dave Marnock. 

The front nine at the Minnedosa Golf and Country Club is currently not in use due to the flood, so the field of 73 players at the event wound up playing the back nine of the course twice.
