The Neepawa Farmers have won their first game of the MSBL regular season, topping the Brandon Cloverleafs on Sunday night 5-2.

Daylon Creasy picked up the victory for Neepawa with an eight inning effort. He compiled seven strikeouts on the way to the win.

At the plate, Garett Rempel, Matt Sneesby and Jason Vinnell all went 2-for-4. Vinnell registered three runs batted in, while Sneesby and Rempel each had a single RBI.

With the win, Neepawa improves to 1-2 on the season, while the Brandon Cloverleafs drop to 0-3. The next home game for the Farmers is on Tuesday, June 2nd against the Brandon Marlins.
