The Neepawa Farmers clinched their tenth straight victory on Saturday, Dec. 5, upending the Glenboro Nordics 4-3. Bret Levandoski scored a pair of goals for Neepawa on the way to the win, while Riley Kolesar and Clarke Rempel added singles for the Farmers. Devin Epp and Brett Dreger were each able to register a pair of assists apiece in the win.

This most recent victory has improved the Neepawa Farmers’ regular season record in the Tiger Hills Hockey League to 10-1, good enough for 20 points. The Carberry Plainsmen remain four points back of Neepawa in the THHL Eastern Division. The Plainsmen kept pace by winning on Saturday night against Deloraine 6-1.

Elsewhere around the league over the weekend, the Minnedosa Bombers blanked the Souris Elks 1-0, Gladstone doubled up Pilot Mound 8-4 and Cartwright toppled Melita 7-1.

The next home game for Neepawa is scheduled for Friday Dec. 11 versus the Gladstone Lakers. Game time is set for 8:00 pm. The following evening, the Farmers will travel to Minnedosa, to face the Bombers.
