It was a very busy July for the Neepawa Blue Dolphins, as the swim club competed in a pair of competitions. The first event on the calendar was in Beausejour on July 17. The results were as follows:
100m Breaststroke: Girls 11/12 – Brooklyn Roe fourth; Girls 13/14 – Robyn Newsome first, Cora Baker second; Girls 15 and over - Delanie Newsome third; Boys 13/14 – Bryce Kwiatkoski first.
50m Backstroke: Girls eight and under – Ashley Nadeau first, Alyssa Nadeau fourth, Rhea Koshel fifth; Girls 9/10 – Ashley Bray third, Ella Koshel fourth, Allison Beaumont fifth; Girls 11/12 – Brooklyn Roe fifth; Girls 13/14 - Erica Bray third, Cora Baker fourth; Boys 9/10 – Carson Baker second.
200m Freestyle: Girls 13/14 - Richelle Forgue second; Girls 15 and over - Delanie Newsome first; Boys 13/14 - Bryce Kwiatkowski first.

The next swim meet for the Blue Dolphins was in Treherne on July 24. The Dolphins had a terrific day for swimming and our results were as follows:

The finals will be held here in Neepawa on Aug. 21. The swim meets starts at 9:00 am with teams coming from Swan River, Beasejour, Winkler, Treherne and Manitou. Please mark your calendar and come out to support our Blue Dolphins as they showcase their talents in the pool.
