Meeting the needs of students through staffing support was a key part of this upcoming year’s budget for the Pine Creek School Division. This year’s budget will rise 4.78 per cent compared to last year, to a total of $14,255,975.

In the early hours of March 19, the Neepawa Volunteer Fire Department conducted a controlled burn on former CN property. They burned two old fertilizers sheds located near the centre of the property.

The Gladstone Lakers have taken the first game of the Tiger Hills Hockey League final, with a 4-2 win over the Deloraine Royals. Around 250 fans packed the Gladstone and District Arena on Wednesday, Mar. 18 for the first game of the best of five series.
