Concerned residents gathered to talk about the future of the Lily Festival in Neepawa

Judging from the crowd at Monday’s public meeting, the community would like to see the Neepawa and Area Lily Festival continue, but new volunteers are still needed. The crowd of close to 30 people were overwhelmingly in support of the festival carrying on, although perhaps in a different format, or with a slightly different focus.

Rocky Mountain Equipment settles into new temporary home

The staff at Rocky Mountain Equipment in Neepawa has settled into their new location. On Monday, the machinery dealership shifted its business into the former Murray’s of Neepawa building on Mountain Avenue. The move is temporary, as the company waits for construction of its new building just east of town to be completed.

Bingo could be NACTV's saviour

With its future uncertain, NAC-TV’s board members hope that a new fundraiser will give the station some much needed financial stability. On Oct. 7, the local access television station will bring TV bingo back to the Neepawa area.
