The Neepawa Farmers picked up a win in their regular season opener in the Manitoba Senior Baseball League.

A former member of the Neepawa Natives played a role in helping the Yorkton Terriers win this year's RBC Cup national junior 'A' hockey championship.

Sopuck visits Tigers hockey team

Late last week, Robert Sopuck, MP for Dauphin-Swan River-Marquette, presented MP certificates to the members of the Neepawa Tigers high school hockey team. Sopuck encourages the players to continue to play hockey and to focus on their education.
The Tigers won the Westman High School Hockey League championship in March. The club also won their third consecutive provincial A/AA high school hockey title that month as well.
