It’s that time of year again. We white-knuckle the commute to work or running errands, cursing Mother Nature as we go, and contemplate moving south.

This year Daly Repair in Rivers has become a participating retailer with Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) to offer their new Winter Tire Program — you can reduce your risk on the roads by purchasing winter tires with low-interest financing.

The Winter Tire Program provides Manitobans up to $2,000 per vehicle. This financing can be used for the purchase of qualifying winter tires and associated costs such as rims, mounting and balancing. To be eligible you must be an individual MPI customer, purchase qualifying tires for a vehicle registered under your name and have no financial restrictions or outstanding arrears on your MPI account. With the purchase of  four new tires either on the MPI program or not, Daly Repair will provide you with a free multi-point inspection of the steering and suspension at the time of installation. Along with an alignment, this will ensure optimal usage and life out of your new tires.
