Home Hardware building in Neepawa destroyed by fire

Early reports suggest the fire at Neepawa's Home Hardware building on Mountain Avenue was first discovered before 6:30 p.m.

 As of 9:00 pm, the fire department, police and ambulance were still on the scene trying to bring the fire under control.

Members of the Minnedosa Fire Department were also brought in to assist. The fire appears to have started near the rear of the building.

UPDATE: 9:41 pm

The building could not be saved, though firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to nearby buildings. No word at this time as to the cause or if anyone was injured.
