I wish to apologize to both families for mistakes I made in last week’s column. I mentioned Robin Routledge’s wedding but neglected to say he married Lindsay Carmichael, a young woman from Prince George, B.C. I also said the wedding was in Alberta but it was actually in British Columbia, in Fort St. John, as I stated.

The second misunderstanding involves the McLaughlin 125 farm celebration. While Ken and Vicky Smith of Hamiota attended to represent Manitoba Historical Society, they gave a 125-year plaque as well as a sticker for the 100-year plaque which the family received from the society 25 years ago. I didn't write this sentence clearly enough so I apologize for the confusion.
