Rivers & area winners in provincial road competition

Manitoba Good Roads Association is a long-standing non-profit organization that recognizes achievement in road construction and maintenance.

Last week the organization contacted municipalities to announce some standings and invite them to the awards banquet/ceremony in Brandon on April 12, 2016.

These are winners within Rivers Banner’s coverage area, provincial winners will not be announced until April. Congratulations to Alexander, Elton and Riverdale. RMs of Alexander and Elton won best-maintained system of rural roads, Division B and C respectively; Riverdale won most improved roads, Division B.
