The regular monthly meeting of Rivers Legion Ladies Auxiliary was held Dec. 7  in the upper hall; 24 members and two guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Shelly Mom's Kitchen.

Madame Katherine Wiebe received her life membership; she has been a member since 1957 and this was a good way to thank her for her service.

A donation was made to Starburst Foundation.

Membership dues are to be paid by Dec.  31 in order to be eligible for the early bird draw, which is a free membership.

Elections were held and the executive is as follows: Madame Marlene Hayhurst, president; Madame Donna Falkevitch, first vice-president; Madame Betty Frazer, second vice-president; Madame Debbie Williams, treasurer; Madame Lisa Smith, sergeant-at-arms; Madame Janice Worth, branch liaison; Madame Eleanor Childerhose, secretary. The next regular meeting will be held Jan. 4 , weather permitting; mesdames Gayle Bullee and Eleanor Childerhose are on lunch.
