Cam and Kristin Tibbett didn’t think their daughter would be the first born at the Neepawa Health Centre this year, so her sooner than anticipated arrival was very much an unexpected, but delightful surprise.

The family welcomed a brand new baby girl on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at the medical facility. Hannah weighed in at a six pounds, four ounces and she was born at 7:32 am.

Kristin Tibbett said the surprise in Hannah’s arrival was that it was sooner than the family had anticipated.

“She was a little bit early. She was due on the 17th, but we’re doing good,” said Tibbett. “[Hannah] is healthy and happy and we’ve had really good care here [at the Health Centre.] The nurses and doctors have all been so awesome.”

Cam Tibbett concurred with Kristin’s views on the quality of care they’ve received. He added that he couldn’t be happier to know that both mother and daughter are healthy.

The Neepawa Press, as well as management and staff both with the Neepawa Health Centre and Prairie Mountain Health wish to extend a heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Cam, Kristin and Hannah Tibbett.
