Fresh off his historic win in the April 19 Manitoba election, PC Manitoba leader Brian Pallister held a conference call press conference with rural media. It was attended by about a dozen representatives from rural radio stations and newspapers.

From May 1 to 7, Manitoba communities will be celebrating Let No One Be Alone (LNOBA) week. LNOBA is an initiative created in 2012 to raise awareness for people, especially seniors and those with disabilities, living alone.

Alzheimer Society of Manitoba

On Monday, May 2, the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (ASM) will be hosting a Virtual Dementia Tour in McCreary. The event is being put on in conjunction with the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre and will be held in their board room from 1 to 3 pm.
