It was an evening of phantom penalties and missed opportunities for the Neepawa Natives on Wednesday, Nov. 4, as the team was upended by the Winnipeg Blues 5-2 in Manitoba Junior Hockey League action.

NACI Tigers advance to football final

The first home game of the Tiger Hills Hockey League regular season for the Neepawa Farmers was almost perfect, as the club cruised to a 6-1 win over the Pilot Mound Pilots.

Comets field taking shape

Nearly two months after Rivers Comets took the field for the last time in 2015, club members and generous community members have worked cohesively to get a leg up on preparations for the 2016 season. In hopes of returning to the community for their sophomore season, a series of laborious tasks needed to be completed in a time sensitive manner to ease the transition next spring.
