Neepawa's Jerry Chudley improved to 5-3 this season in the Westman Super League of Curling.
Chudley and his team scored two in the fifth, once in the sixth and another deuce in the eighth end en route to a 5-4 win over Pilot Mound's Curtis McCannell.
Meanwhile, defending league champion Terry McNamee improved to 7-1 this season after his team defeated Wawanesa's Perry Fisher 6-2. With the win, McNamee and his team sit alone in first place in the standings.
In other league action, Shawn Taylor defeated Kelly Skinner 5-3, Jim Renwick beat Brian Fowler 5-1, Duane Lang edged Mark Anderson 6-5, while Kelly Marnoch got past Cale Dunbar 5-3.
