Town of Rivers, Sept. 2: Permission was granted for public works to install a sign on the east side of town to recognize  the 1964 Rivers Rams football team as a Manitoba Hall of Fame 2013 inductee.

The back door and ceiling fan need to be repaired at Prairie Crocus Regional Library. Canadian Diabetes Association was given permission to canvass the town in October. Mayor Gill gave an update on proposed kids splash park and he talked about a meeting with Manitoba Water Services Board and J.R. Cousin regarding water treatment plant design.

Finances: Mike Beaulé was enrolled in a Water Distribution 1 course Sept. 22-26 in Winnipeg for $780 plus the cost of the final exam and related expenses being paid. A total of $9,644.11 was added to the tax roll while $2,171.12 was cancelled. Home & Away Lodge was credited $226.97 for an additional meter to account 48801 0020 and account 48801 0010 was removed. Saw cut patching of $4,332 was approved for 855 Second Avenue, part of Manitoba Street and 364 Third Avenue.
