Two vehicle accident near Neepawa

One person was rushed to hospital with undetermined injuries on Monday afternoon, after a two-vehicle accident on the edge of Neepawa.

The incident occurred near Brahma's Grill and Steakhouse, about three kilometres east of town. One eyewitness told the Neepawa Banner that a truck was stopped at the parking lot exit way of Brahma's waiting to merge with traffic on Highway 16, when a car allegedly struck it from behind.

Two people, the driver and a passenger, were in the truck at the time of the accident, while a single person was in the car. A lone individual, the driver of the car was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. RCMP has not yet affirmed these details, as the exact cause of the accident is still being investigated.
