The two-hour Woodworth Senior Services afternoon Christmas party took place at Kenton Memorial Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 10. With the hall decorated for Christmas, it was easy to get into the Christmas spirit.

Colleen Elliott and her kitchen helpers (Melanie Alexander and her sister-in-law Pat Elliott) fed us with tasty snacks and delicious dainties, cranberry juice, coffee and tea. She tested our Christmas knowledge with a list of Christmas trivia questions and then gave us the correct answers. Tickets were purchased from Colleen for prizes that were available; lucky winners went home with some lovely things. Ladies in the area baked goodies and everyone in attendance at the party took home a plate to share with their families. I’m sure there will be some recipe swapping taking place. Well done Colleen and ladies!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2015 everyone! I (Paulette) appreciate all the news people give me, otherwise there wouldn’t be a Kenton column.
