Drug and weapons bust in Neepawa

A recent Spruce Plains RCMP search warrant has netted a pair of arrests connected to drugs, cash and a prohibited weapon. On July 26, 2015, the Spruce Plains RCMP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in Neepawa. As a result of the search warrant, officers seized 4.5 ounces of cocaine, a prohibited weapon and near $6000 in cash.

29 year-old Jack Pich Jr and 26 year-old Deana Pich both from Neepawa, were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon. Both were released on a Recognizance for Court for a later date, as the investigation continues.

Those who traffic in illicit drugs destroy lives, homes and communities. The RCMP remains fully committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs to their fullest extent.
