A new season for the Manitoba Rho Beta Sigma Phi began on September 8, 2015 at the home of Beth Melendy.

Our instillation of new officers took place. Else Martin pledged the position of president taking over from Audrey Heffell. Pat Graham pledged the position of vice president taking over for Lynne Ranger. Linda Hart remains in the position of secretary, Kathy Chute remains in position of treasurer, and Mary Ellen Clarke remains in position of extension officer.

Last year was an active year for the chapter. We adopted a family for the Christmas 2014 Hampers. In February, a weekend retreat was enjoyed by several members at the Elkhorn Resort. In April we travelled to Souris to celebrate Founders Day with other Manitoba chapters. We participated in the set up and running of the annual Cancer Care Fashion Show in May, also donating a bistro set for the auction. A donation was given to the Festival of Fine Arts.

Some milestones for some of our members were reached last year. We honored Marg Van Buskirk for entering the Silver Circle celebrating 25 years in active membership. Transition into the Masters Degree took place for Shirley Glen Linda Hart, Pat Graham, Bev Finlayson and Mary Ellen Clarke, which is active membership for over 20 years. We honored Lynne Ranger in summer of 2014 for the Order of the Rose, which is 15 years in active membership.
