The Viscount Cultural Centre for the Arts is putting on their fifth annual fall classical music concert on Sept. 26 at 7:00 pm at the Knox Presbyterian Church.

The artist performing will be Everett Hopfner. Hopfner is a pianist originally from Ste. Rose, Manitoba. He did his undergraduate studies at Brandon University and then went on to earn graduate degrees in piano and new music in Germany. He has performed at festivals across Europe and North America.

Currently, Hopfner is living in Manitoba as a pianist and teacher. Being from the area, Hopfner has performed in Neepawa before. It is a good opportunity to see a world-renowned pianist perform live. The night’s repertoire will mainly consist of modern classical style music, including some pieces composed by Manitobans. Tickets are available at the Viscount Cultural Centre or at the door that evening.
