Pictured: the new logo for Riverdale Municipality

The January 2015 provincially-forced amalgamation of RM of Daly and Town of Rivers created a new entity, Riverdale Municipality. This new municipal corporation has a new logo, which replaces the former seals and appears on all correspondence and municipal-owned vehicles. 

A request was made to the public for a new design and although there was some response, those that were submitted were not selected. The new design was fashioned by the office staff and approved by Riverdale council. Blue waves in the design resemble the nearby Little Saskatchewan River which flows through Lake Wahtopanah.
