Yvonne Ross has enjoyed playing Scratch ‘N Win Blackjack for a while. But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t surprised when she won $21,000 on the lottery game.

Ross recently purchased her winning ticket at Neepawa’s Giant Tiger, located at 300 Mountain Avenue. Ross said that when she arrived home and scratched the ticket, she immediately rushed back out just to ensure that it really was a winner.

“I scratched the ticket over my kitchen sink,” Ross said. “I basically just turned around and went back to the store to make sure I wasn’t just seeing things.”

So far, the surprised winner has noted that there is only one thing she has in mind for what she’ll spend her winnings on.

“I’m going to buy a new car,” Ross said happily.
