On Wednesday, March 16, area residents were invited to the open house of New Hope Health Centre. In her introduction, owner Lisa Davie said, "30 years ago, I studied reflexology and nutrition at an institution in Winnipeg. I believe in thinking outside of the box and have consistently upgraded my schooling and studies. I opened my first clinic in reflexology in Stephenfield, Manitoba. Then operated a clinic on Mountain Avenue 18 years ago. The business, comprising of 1,000 sq. ft. was moved to our home here and then last October, we decided we required more space.

A separate building was designed of 3,000 sq. ft., framing erected by Dec. 5 and completed by March of this year.

Here we offer 100 per cent natural products from Canadian sources with no fillers. We offer microscopic analysis of red and white blood cell counts and provide counselling, giving patrons the ability to make healthy choices in their lives."

Lisa's husband Murray is certified to blend a high fibre mixture, which is grown locally at their farm. Harla Henry-Barbieri from Rapid City has been with New Hope for many years. She manages customer relations, appointments, front sales, etc. Product is available via their website and is weighed, packaged and despatched on site.

The business is located on 80 Road N via Hwy 5 South, 13 minutes from Neepawa.

Lisa commented, "I believe everyone of us is responsible for our own health, but sometimes a little assistance is needed to get back on track. Here at New Hope Health, we provide solutions to people's needs and challenges and derive satisfaction as they begin to feel better and have more energy.”
