Riverdale Harvest food bank has been in our new location (at Zion Church), with a new schedule for disbursements, for a couple of months now. We are happy to see people are finding us at our new location. We now have a drop-in disbursement method. Anyone can attend anytime between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon on any Thursday. You can come as often as once every two weeks to pick up a hamper. We are striving to make access easier and more consistent for both clients and volunteers.

We handed out 12 family hampers, four couple hampers and one single hamper in the month of March. There were 23 children who directly benefited from these hampers.

We are looking forward to the HELP social they have planned for April 30 at Rivers Legion. Proceeds are being equally divided between Praire Crocus Regional Library and the food bank. Tickets are available at the door so please come and join us! There is a silent auction, food and music. Hope to see you there!
