‘A Mid Summer’s Eve’ is an annual sales event held by local businesses. Referred to as Shop & Dine as well, the event this year took place on July 21 and included Beyond the Garden Gate, Studio One, Brews Brothers, Kerreen’s Clothing, It’s Time Fashion & Gifts, 4U Home Décor and Herbs for Health._copy_DSC0002.jpg

The Herbs for Health sign displayed in the store.

The main attraction of the event is the day long sale put on by the stores, but this summer’s event also included a coupon chain - shopping or dining at any of the locations would get you a coupon for the next store in the chain.

There’s a sister event held every winter as well, called ‘Winter’s Eve’.
