One of the best pieces of advice I ever received came at one of the most turbulent times in my life. A trusted friend said something like this: “Neil, don’t let your past keep you in bondage. Let it go and move on.” That turned out to be far easier for my friend to say than it was for me to do.

Krista was molested at eight years old, causing her to lose her identity and sense of self-worth. At 20, she was raped and her life soon spiraled out of control. Trying to mend the broken pieces of her heart, Krista turned to drugs and satanism. She became suicidal, and that’s when Krista reached out to Adult & Teen Challenge for help.
